Ask Karinna Q & A

Dear Karinna,

I just got a bad case of urinary infection that I am recovering from. I found out that these infections frequently reoccur and are often related to vaginal fluids entering the urethra during sex, but I also read that using sexual positions with less friction on the urethra may help to prevent this. Can you suggest some of these positions? Any other advice on this matter would also be most welcome. Many thanks.

Urinary infections are not fun and are often called the "honeymoon disease" because newly intimate couples can be so highly sexually active that they can "overdo" it.
